Juvéderm® with licodaine gel, similar to Restylane-L® and Perlane-L® Fillers, is mainly made of hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin which is injected via a syringe into the dermis (skin) to temporarily correct fine lines, wrinkles, folds and contours of the face or to temporarily increase the volume of the lips. This hyaluronic acid is naturally present in human skin, and helps maintain volume with the ability to attract and bind water molecules. The effect varies depending on the type of skin, areas of injection and amount injected.
