Dr. N.K. Hans MSc, MD,CCFP

Dr. Hans is the epitome of a modern woman in a modern world. She has become a mentor to Medical Students and co-workers alike. She is well respected in the community in which she lives, as well as the Medical Community. She began her medical career in the State of Punjab, India, earning a Masters Degree (MSc,) from the Punjab Agricultural University. From there, she moved to Canada and furthered her education at the University of Alberta, earning her MD, and CCFP Degrees. She graduated Family Medicine from the University of Alberta in 1997. Over the next five years Dr. Hans began again in Academic Family Medicine. She became Clinical Director for Grey Nuns Family Medicine Clinic, and was assigned as Assistant Professor, University of Alberta, receiving a promotion in a very short while as Associate Professor, University of Alberta.
Dr. Hans has been a Family Physician for 8 years in Edmonton, Alberta. She is a wife and mother of two teenage children. One would think that with such a busy life, there would be no time left for personal growth. But personal growth and the compassion she has for her patients, has lead her to expand in 2005 to encompass another area of treatment, "Looking Good, Feeling Better."
